About the position

The Communications Specialist: Digital Communications Accessibility Lead is responsible for supporting all content requirements for the Weld RE-4 School District, focusing on internal and external communications. This role ensures compliance with digital accessibility standards and applicable laws, requiring a strong understanding of digital content development and accessibility. The position also involves fostering good community relations and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities

Ensure timely compliance with digital accessibility standards and guidelines.
Develop and manage digital content for various platforms including websites and social media.
Promote good community relations with stakeholders.
Provide excellent customer service in all communications efforts.
Support internal and external communications for the Weld RE-4 School District.

Requirements

Excellent working knowledge of communications and digital content development.
Specialized knowledge of website content management and digital accessibility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Understanding of publishing and printing guidelines.
