As the Head of Accessibility at Facebook, you will be responsible for the vision, strategy and execution of the company’s approach to building inclusive products for people with disabilities. In this role you will work with a team of engineers, designers, researchers and more to build products and programs that enable accessibility at scale. You will also work closely with organizational and product leadership to facilitate operational improvements that ensure we deliver the best product experiences. This position is full-time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish a shared vision for accessibility across the company
Drive accessibility product development with a team of world-class engineers, designers and researchers
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of accessibility across the company and individual products
Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
Engage with the broader accessibility community and represent Facebook in industry events and conversations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience on accessibility
5+ years experience driving cross-company programs at scale
Organizational and analytical experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience developing social products, technologies and platforms
BA/BS
