Your insights will help us maintain a data-driven approach, as you benchmark and assess program goals and outcomes to continually enhance our services. Plus, you’ll oversee budget management and planning, ensuring our resources align with our commitment to inclusivity.

Job Duties:
Reporting Relationships / Direct Reports:

Reports to the Vice President of Equity & Inclusive Excellence
Supervises the Testing Center Coordinator and the Assistant Director of the Office of Accessibility Resources (OAR)

What You'll Do:

Leadership & Oversight | 35% |Provide leadership to the department. Oversees all Office staff which includes the Assistant Director, admin support and Testing Center Coordinator. Maintains and manages data on the provision of services, benchmarks and assesses program goals and outcomes; manages the budget; represents the office at campus events; and participates on campus committees.


Accommodations | 35% | Partner with academic affairs, student affairs, and dining to process accommodation requests (academic, housing, dining, parking). Review documentation, communicate approval statuses, conduct initial and follow-up meetings, monitor accommodation implementation, and consult as needed to ensure access.


Training & Programming| 20% | Designs, develops, and implements accessibility and disability-related programs and training for Bucknell students, faculty, and staff to ensure equal access for disabled students.


Continued Education & Professional Development| 10% | Advances skills and competencies by keeping abreast of laws, mandates, and trends in accessibility/disability services in higher education.
What You'll Bring:

Education: Master’s in Education or a related field

Professional Work Experience: 4-5 years

Leadership experience

Preferred, but not required:

Education: Doctorate in Education or a related field

Professional Work Experience: 6-7 years

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in an office setting, with or without accommodations, to include: sitting, standing, moving about the office and campus

Salary Range:
75,000.00-90,800.00

The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.

This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of the application.
