We are seeking a Software Quality Manager to help us ensure user feedback continues to drive the quality of Apple’s accessibility features, such as VoiceOver, Zoom, Voice Control, and Switch Control (among many other features).
Key Qualifications

2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role leading QA/QE teams
Experience running customer feedback programs
Deep knowledge of Apple’s assistive technologies
Track record of testing and shipping high quality apps or frameworks
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
Extraordinary attention to detail
Experience leading and developing a team in a cross-functional environment would be a plus

Description
In this role, you’ll be a hands-on manager on the Accessibility Quality & Livability team. You’ll lead a team focused on managing user feedback programs, testing new assistive technologies during development, and regression testing of existing assistive technologies.

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working in an exciting environment with rapidly changing priorities while leveraging user perspectives to shape our process and products. This team works closely with the accessibility development team, seed feedback team, AppleCare and other cross-functional teams across Apple’s platforms.
Responsibilities include:

Leading, mentoring, and hiring accessibility software quality engineers
Representing the team in technical and project meetings
Partnering with project management, cross-functional partners, and the leadership team to
define product features and schedules
Scoping and prioritizing testing deliverables
Releasing quality software quickly and efficiently
Education & Experience
BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,400 and $250,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
