The Community Manager - Accessibility will oversee AudioEye’s engagement with members of the disabled community and will be responsible for building and managing an active community close to the mission of AudioEye. The Community Manager - Accessibility will be the first point of contact and key to building relationships with new members in one-on-one sessions and email messaging. To succeed in this role, the Community Manager - Accessibility must have a deep passion for web accessibility, knowledge of assistive technology, and the ability to build a brand through community advocacy.

It will be critical to stay informed of new developments and opportunities in the accessibility industry and be a strategic thinker who can roll up your sleeves and jump in to execute your strategies. Taking the initiative to bring your ideas to life and being willing to test them are also vital attributes.

How you’ll Contribute:

Build and maintain a community of people to create positive feedback loops for AudoEye’s brand and product
Conduct new member onboarding training
Conduct remote sessions with people with disabilities who use assistive technology to access the internet; document learnings from their experience and build relationships
Collaborate on advocacy efforts and content creation projects with the marketing team, including videos, focus groups, interviews, podcasts, surveys, and social media
Devise and implement community communications initiatives and engagement incentives
Take the initiative and research new spaces and opportunities where AudioEye community members should be present
Coordinate with internal and external teams to build our community
Measure and improve key performance indicators transparently
Build relationships with customers, industry professionals, and community members
Manage community member (independent contractor) invoicing and approvals

Who you are:

Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field
3 years experience as a Community Manager or similar role
Experience connecting with users in forums and other community platforms
Experience or familiarity working with people with disabilities
Knowledge of user testing or accessibility testing
Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Independent, critical thinker and problem-solver
Proficient in MacOS and Windows
Familiar with Asana, Google Workspace, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, Gong
Familiar with screen readers and literacy software like JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, Talkback, ReadAloud, and Kurzweil
Knowledge of inclusive, user-centered, and universal design is a plus

Salary Range: $75000 - $80000
