Key Requirements for the Role:
Expertise in Accessibility Standards and Tools
In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 (or WCAG 2.2) and other accessibility regulations (e.g., Section 508 in the U.S., EN 301 549 in the EU).
Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools such as WAVE, Axe, Lighthouse, and screen readers like NVDA, for identifying violations and assessing compliance.
Familiarity with assistive technologies and how users with disabilities interact with digital content, including testing with screen readers, voice recognition software, and keyboard navigation.
