Coordinator, Accessibility, FIFA World Cup 2026

Reporting organisationally to the Senior Manager of Accessibility and Safeguarding, the Accessibility Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Sustainability & Human Rights team, This role will be responsible for supporting the successful implementation of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Sustainability & Human Rights Strategy with a particular focus on accessibility and inclusivity.
THE POSITION
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Accessibility Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ will be to:

Coordinate development of policies and procedures on disability and accessibility across the organization with an emphasis on digital accessibility.
Provide project management and planning assistance in order to ensure an accessible FIFA World Cup 2026™ for people with disabilities and people with limited mobility.
Audit or assist with auditing of official FIFA World Cup 2026™ sites for compliance with relevant laws, rules, regulations and requirements..
Contribute to development and delivery of training and training materials for internal and external stakeholders on disability and accessibility related topics.
Coordinate and manage special projects, meetings, workshops and site visits.
Liaise with host cities, country offices and others to support development and delivery of disability and accessibility initiatives.
Coordinate and oversee development and delivery of required reports and documentation.
Liaise with functional areas to ensure disability and accessibility considerations are taken into account and coordinated across the organization.
Provide administrative support to the Human Rights and Antidiscrimination team.


YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in social sciences, inclusive design, human rights, equality, diversity and/or international relations
A minimum of 2 years of work experience working on accessibility issues for persons with disabilities; digital accessibility experience ideal.
Practical work familiarity with disability legislation in the Host Countries and international accessibility standards for people with disabilities and people with limited mobility;
Project management experience
Strong attention to detail and deadlines
Skilled written and verbal communicator
Fluent in English (verbal and written). Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
