Amazon is seeking a proactive, customer service obsessed and team-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Director of the Device Accessibility team, and key members of that team, within Amazon Devices & Services. This position will also assist in planning and facilitating both internal and external activities and projects.

Amazon has built a reputation for accessibility excellence, with our accessibility work recognized by the American Foundation for the Blind with their Helen Keller Achievement award, by Disability: IN with their Marketplace Innovator award, and by FCC Chairman Ajit Pai with the FCC Chairman’s Award for Advancements in Accessibility. You would be joining the Amazon Device Accessibility team whose work was featured in these awards, to help us further accelerate and scale accessibility throughout Devices & Services and Amazon. And you would be supporting and working alongside the world class accessibility leaders driving many of Amazon’s accessibility advancements.

The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining great flexibility and a sense of humor. The candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, goal-focused environment. The candidate will possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision. Key to the position is the ability to be organized, prioritized and on time while also serving as another "go to" for all members of this extended team.

The position requires the capacity to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group, while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, services, facilities, procedures and related information in order to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.

Key job responsibilities

Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements.
Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.
Schedule cost effective and accessible travel (domestic and international).
Scheduling accessibility support for meetings and events, including ASL interpreters, CART, and other services.
Complete and file expense reports; utilizing both domestic and international currencies.
File and track purchase orders.
Drive team logistics, including staff meeting agendas, social outings, supply ordering, and other key logistics.
Drive event logistics, both company-wide, as well as events that involving external partners and organizations, including arranging for accommodations as needed.
Support scheduling of accessibility research studies and other internal- and external- participant events.
Identify and coordinate most productive and cost-effective method for meetings including in person, on-site, off-site, audio conferences (international, stateside and local) and video conferences.
Close collaboration with departmental EA peers, as well as EAs for Vice-Presidents and Senior Vice-Presidents.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
