What you'll do
Your primary responsibility will be to drive the accessibility agenda and contribute to the overall accessibility strategy for our in-store experiences. You will collaborate with key teams across the organisation, including Customer Care, Customer Experience Design, Digital, HR, and store operations, to raise awareness of accessibility and disability issues and shape our approach to supporting customers with access needs. Drawing on your expertise, you will guide and advise teams, define metrics of success, and ensure that our customer experiences are accessible by setting standards and metrics, and driving progress towards targets. You will lead the implementation of legislation and regulatory changes related to accessibility and disability, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional customer care. Additionally, you will work closely with our internal Digital Accessibility Specialist, collaborate with industry experts, and champion inclusive approaches within the business.

Who you are
You are a highly skilled and experienced professional in the field of accessibility and disability services, with a strong background in the retail sector. With your deep understanding of accessibility issues and your ability to drive change, you play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the accessibility strategy for our in-store experiences. Your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills allow you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence key decision-makers, and champion inclusive approaches that meet the needs of customers with disabilities. Drawing on your expertise and knowledge of industry best practises, you provide guidance, set standards, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, while continuously improving our services and enhancing the overall customer experience for individuals with access needs.
