Web Accessibility Tester / Senior Web Accessibility Specialist

Scope of Work:
This position for a senior web accessibility specialist will focus on website functionality by utilizing automation tools to conduct assessments. They also focus on developing and executing methods to enhance online or mobile content.

General job duties for web accessibility specialists include performing audits and preparing reports on their findings; developing solutions to align with a dynamic code base; and providing training on overcoming web accessibility issues. They can identify accessibility weaknesses and provide recommendations on how to improve accessibility.

This web accessibility specialist role will create and maintain formats for testing systems on web accessibility compliance. They will record their findings, such as technical defects or issues, during testing. This roll will also include assisting with the design of websites and making web accessibility recommendations.
Qualifications:
Excellent technical abilities, as this roll will be responsible for ensuring web and mobile applications have WAG2.0 Level AA accessible available content. Relevant technical skills or knowledge can include, JIRA, JAWS, and AMP. Web accessibility
specialists should have strong communication skills in order to create and present technical reports and collaborate with colleagues. This roll will also require effective analytical abilities, so they can properly evaluate code and determine solutions for accessibility issues.
