This is a non-technical role, but the ideal candidate will have experience collaborating with accessibility engineers and developers to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project plans, addressing uncertainty and maintaining roadmaps, metrics, and progress reports for stakeholders.
Manage a team inbox to triage incoming support requests and prioritize strategic work effectively.
Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, using tools like JIRA.
Provide end-to-end delivery support to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
Handle project administration tasks as needed in the absence of a dedicated admin team.
Oversee relationships with contracted suppliers, including creating statements of work, agency briefs, and contract deliverables.
Manage budgets and financial reporting, including raising invoices and purchase orders.
Monitor and mitigate risks while managing dependencies across teams and products.
Required Experience:
Mandatory:
Strong understanding of product lifecycle phases and product delivery processes.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects or project streams simultaneously.
Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum, with hands-on experience using tools like JIRA.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and collaboration tools like Miro.
Experience working within large, complex organizations.
Desirable:
A strong interest in or experience with digital accessibility projects.
Familiarity with addressing technical challenges, though coding experience is not required.
