Our world-class accessibility team works across Target to deliver accessible experiences whether a guest is using assistive technologies like a screen reader, a magnifier, voice recognition software, or switch technology.
As a Senior Accessibility Consultant, you will…
Test digital experiences using a variety of tools and assistive technology
Log accessibility defects as appropriate and follow up to ensure they are addressed
Provide consultation to partners who are prototyping and building digital experiences
Create training materials and educate others on accessibility requirements and practices
Review prototypes, concepts, and wireframes for design elements and provide feedback to partners
3-5 years experience doing manual accessibility testing on various platforms
Ability to demonstrate a well-rounded understanding of web accessibility requirements
Understanding of web coding languages and how they relate to ensuring accessible experiences
Experience in an agile workspace using bug tracking and project management software
Firsthand experience with assistive technology a plus
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
