We are currently interviewing for an Accessibility Resources & Compliance Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Under the general direction of the Director, Accessibility Resources this HYBRID position oversees areas in postsecondary education regulatory compliance and supports ADA (Section 504) compliance. Responsibilities:

ADA Compliance

Support the Director, Accessibility Resources in facilitating reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities:

Create and send accommodation letters to students activating their academic accommodations
Conduct student outreach and maintain student referral records
Assist with scheduling student appointments
Help facilitate student accommodations by arranging for ASL interpreters, CART captioning, accessible furniture, etc.
Respond to general inquiries about Accessibility Resources from students, parents, staff, and faculty
Assist with maintaining the student disability database
Run student reports and maintain spreadsheet data
Support data collection and data reporting for Accessibility Resources

State Authorization Compliance

Support the VP, Compliance in annual reporting to federal and state regulatory agencies and accreditors:

Assist in collecting and tracking graduate employment data
Help compile supporting documentation, prepare data, and thoroughly review external reporting
Update internal documentation, including enrollment documents, policy and procedure manuals, training materials, and status documents
Attend compliance training workshops and assist with accreditation reporting and visits as needed

Qualifications:

At least 2 years’ experience working in higher education with knowledge of postsecondary education regulatory compliance is preferred
Preferred knowledge includes compliance related to state authorization for distance education, Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504, and data privacy such as FERPA, GLBA, GDPR, and CCPA
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization
Strong proofreading and analytical skills (advanced Word and Excel skills)
Experience using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Salesforce preferred
Attention to detail and ability to apply sound judgement when working with sensitive information
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
