Job Description
• Strong leadership skills, preferably with some consultancy experience.
• Strong estimating, financial management and financial control for large Testing Engagements • At least 5 years’ experience working within public and/or private organizations managing the full end to end testing programs of work
• Well versed in Testing techniques, tools, and latest trends, including software engineering processes and automation
• Test assurance and governance for test engagements within and across suppliers
• Experienced in test planning and execution within different project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Spiral, Agile and DevOps
• Must have led testing activities in various projects, with larger teams, ideally within a Distributed Delivery environment
• Extensive experience in testing with focus on Test Management
• Nice to have SC cleared or eligible to secure SC clearance
• Proven experience working within a large public sector organization managing the full end-to-end testing program
• Experience of working within the government environment and deep knowledge of Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and guidelines
• Well-versed in Testing techniques, tools, and latest trends, including SW engineering processes and automation
• Produce end to end Test strategy and test approach Experience in writing Test Level Plans
• Experienced in test planning & execution with Agile & DevOps methodologies
• Oversee test execution results and defects tracker
• Produce summary report of testing status, defect status, corrective actions for major defects and RAG status at program level with input from workstream
• Creation of Test Level Exit Reports
• Experience of Managing Test Transition Projects
• Must have led testing activities in various projects, with teams up to 20 resources, ideally within a Distributed Delivery environment
• Flexible, with good communication and analytical skills
• Good people skills, especially diplomacy and advocacy skills - planning, resource assignment, management skills.
