This is a unique opportunity for a high energy accessibility professional to have a profound impact on furthering the mission of the Accessibility Program at Adobe. You will act as a trusted advisor for a variety of internal product teams and external customers who represent various industries. You are a creative problem solver who can get things done. You can mentor developers, content creators, and designers to deliver accessible solutions. You are outstanding at influencing up, down, and across groups, and your actions demonstrate a humble dedication to fostering the growth and success of others.

What You’ll Do

Work with Adobe sales and customer success managers to support pre- and post-sales conversations with customers about the accessibility of our products.

Appropriately respond to or triage inquiries received from customers.

Support the sales team with demos, RFP responses, and ACR distribution.

Review third party assessments of products and respond to any prospect or customer questions regarding the results.

Engage with product teams across the organization acting as the voice of the customer.

Develop accessibility policies, standards, processes, training, and awareness.

Act as an accessibility consultant for the organization, providing mentorship for developing accessible designs, prioritizing accessibility defects for product teams, and identifying/resolving accessibility barriers.

Stay up to date with industry developments and trends related to digital accessibility.

What You Need to Succeed

8+ years product management in working in an Accessibility Center of Excellence in a software organization or relevant work experience.

Experience in software development specifically in web and/or client-side, software lifecycle methodology, and/or information systems development.

Experience in managing cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management throughout the project from inception to delivery.

Proven track record to make practical feature versus time-to-market tradeoffs, facilitate contentious discussions and resolution of problems.

Proficient with testing using screen reader(s) such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and Talkback.

Understanding of current international accessibility laws, standards, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and ARIA.

IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC); Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS); or other certification is preferred.

Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations as well as understand organizational issues and challenges.

Proven success influencing peers across cross-functional teams in a high matrixed and global organization environment.

Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues and their implications for projects and business.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $146,800 -- $262,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
