For our Global Business Services Center (GBSC), located in TSUM Business Center, we are looking for an Accessibility Compliance & Regulatory Advisor.
Specialist in risk and audit management, with a focus on Disability, Equality, Accessibility regulations compliance reporting, and management of regulatory processes for IT products, services & Human Resources processes. Expected responsibilities include the maintenance of a legal watch for Accessibility regulations and compliance reporting, advisory, and management of regulatory processes.
Responsibilities:
Consolidate the legal and regulatory framework and requirements for accessibility and disability inclusion across all aspects of Atos businesses in all relevant geographical jurisdictions (> 70 countries).
Map specific requirements by regions and business lines to ensure that the organization is informed as to what is necessary to ensure compliance in the accessibility & disability inclusion areas.
Research and interpret new regulations and laws across the regions informing the Accessibility team and their clients on relevant news & consequences for processes and businesses in a regular manner.
Enrich and maintain a Legal Watch: track and update metrics of legal requirements; for this purpose, set up a database of relevant Acts, Conventions, Laws, directives, and regulations.
Support to build active monitoring against key objectives and selected standards: Estimate reputational, and business risks as well as the financial risks for non-compliance on a regional versus global scale and alert on penal risks proactively. Collect and document evidence on issued penalties in the ecosystem of geographical jurisdictions, suppliers, and clients.
Document the changes and impact of legislation on Accessibility relevant internal processes and inclusion of persons/ employees with disabilities. Proactively alert on upcoming changes and their impact.
If gaps and risks are identified, propose appropriate changes to policy, audit practices, internal processes, internal controls, and reporting.
Cooperate with external legal advisors to get clarification on laws and policies.
Create the service for clients – providing from high level to detailed information on existing and upcoming laws, regulations and standards within a context.
Support the execution and scoping of internal controls and maturity assessments for Accessibility & Digital Inclusion aiming to test for identified risks.
Requirements:
Law studies (international law in Compliance and Regulation or Joint Degree Programs in Law and Disability Studies are a strong benefit)
Experience from at least one of the following regulated industries: ICT, Finance, Telecom and Media, Transport, Human Resources, Health Care, Critical Infrastructure, Public Sector and Governments
Experience in understanding and interpreting ISO and other complex technical standards.
Ability and eagerness to acquire and consolidate knowledge about regulatory and compliance matters in all relevant geographical jurisdictions through interaction with external advisors and self-study.
Solid knowledge and experience with Data Protection (GDPR) and strong benefits in Cybersecurity
Proficiency in English language, written and verbal. German and French & Other European Languages are desirable.
High degree of analytical capabilities and concise writing on complex matters
Willingness and resilience to build up expertise in a wide field constantly evolving, assertiveness in internal and external communication.
Able to work with remote teams and clients.
Enthusiasm about working in an international context with diverse and disability-inclusive teams, flexible and open mindset putting people over processes where needed (agile mindset a plus)
