Web Accessibility Engineer

We are seeking a Web Accessibility Engineer to join our client's online store engineering team. As a key member of the project team, they will play a crucial role in ensuring design reviews, engineering requirements, and accessibility solutions are implemented effectively. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including project managers, designers, and developers, you will be instrumental in upholding accessibility standards and minimizing legal risks.

The responsibilities will involve closely working with designers and engineers to guarantee accessibility standards are met, proposing design modifications, and implementing coding solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in advancing our client's commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, making their e-commerce platform universally accessible.

Key Requirements:
- 4+ years of front-end web development experience with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in providing feedback on UI designs
- Strong debugging skills
- Familiarity with WCAG and ARIA standards
- Experience in validating web accessibility using automated tools and assistive technologies
- Nice to have: React development experience
