Position Overview:

In this role, you will collaborate with enterprise architects, development teams, business partners, and program delivery areas to design, document, and communicate strategies for mobile application delivery. You will ensure the smooth delivery of mobile solutions, define Azure design patterns, and support enterprise-wide goals to enhance functionality, security, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with enterprise architects, development teams, business partners, and service delivery teams to define, document, and communicate mobile platform strategies and delivery processes.
Support cross-functional teams in implementing mobile solutions across various platforms, primarily on Azure Cloud, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
Platform Design & Documentation:

Develop and document designs, prototypes, and other technical artifacts to support the mobile platform's evolution and scalability.
Create technical documentation, including system integration patterns, design specifications, and technical frameworks in accordance with enterprise standards.
Define service delivery processes, implementation plans, configuration standards, and reusable coding practices for mobile applications.
Platform Health & Testing:

Monitor the performance and operational health of the mobile platform, ensuring it meets best practices and complies with industry standards.
Conduct testing of the platform’s mobile solutions and provide support to teams in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
Process Improvement:

Research and implement new processes and technologies to optimize mobile application delivery and enhance the user experience.
Continuously evaluate and update platform processes to ensure efficiency, stability, and compliance with security and accessibility standards.
Support & Training:

Provide excellent customer service and support to mobile app developers and users by addressing issues, risks, and troubleshooting problems.
Develop and deliver training materials to various teams, focusing on new technologies, tools, and best practices related to mobile application development.
Security & Compliance:

Ensure all mobile platform solutions comply with relevant accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, ADA, WCAG 2.1 AA) and security regulations.
Participate in risk assessments and security evaluations to guarantee the integrity and safety of the mobile platform.
Roadmap & Strategy Development:

Contribute to the creation and execution of roadmaps and strategic plans for the enterprise mobile platform.
Stay current on emerging technologies and mobile trends, making recommendations for technology upgrades and new opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:

Digital Accessibility & Compliance:

Strong knowledge of Section 508, ADA, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements.
Experience with accessibility evaluation tools (e.g., WAVE, Accessibility Inspector) and assistive technologies (e.g., VoiceOver, JAWS, Dragon Naturally Speaking).
Web Technologies & Mobile Platforms:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with mobile applications (iOS/Android) development and support.
Experience in testing and supporting cloud-hosted technology services, particularly on Azure Cloud.
Process Engineering & Documentation:

Proven ability to document system designs, integration patterns, and workflow processes for mobile solutions.
Experience creating technical documentation, including diagrams, guides, and specifications, for both internal teams and external partners.
Customer Service & Support:

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience in production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, providing guidance and technical assistance.
Training & Mentorship:

Experience developing training materials and mentoring teams on best practices for mobile app development, design, and implementation.
Preferred Experience:

Mobile App Development:

Experience with mobile app frameworks and developing solutions for iOS and Android platforms.
DevSecOps Practices:

Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and best practices aimed at reducing total cost of ownership and improving user experience.
Assistive Technology:

Hands-on experience using assistive technologies (e.g., VoiceOver, JAWS, ZoomText) for mobile application testing.
Additional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in mobile platform support, cloud technologies, and process engineering.
Demonstrated experience working with development teams, mobile applications, and cloud-hosted solutions.
