Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented Content Writer with a strong understanding of digital accessibility standards like WCAG, ADA, and AODA. As a key member of our team, you will craft high-quality, engaging content that educates and inspires our audience on accessibility best practices, tools, and compliance requirements. Your writing will help raise awareness and provide actionable insights for improving website accessibility, while contributing to the overall success of our blog and knowledge base.

Key Responsibilities:

Write clear, concise, and well-researched content related to digital accessibility, including blog posts, articles, case studies, guides, and research papers.
Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to produce content that aligns with our accessibility services and educational goals.
Develop content that explains complex accessibility concepts in a way that’s easy to understand for non-technical audiences.
Ensure all content is compliant with accessibility standards, including proper use of headings, alt text, and other key accessibility factors.
Keep up to date with the latest developments in WCAG, ADA, and accessibility tools to maintain accuracy and relevance in content.
Work closely with the SEO team to optimize content for search engines while maintaining a focus on accessibility.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in the field of digital accessibility, UX, or web development.
Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, ADA, AODA, and ARIA standards.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to simplify complex technical information for broader audiences, including designers, developers, and website owners.
Passion for creating accessible digital content and commitment to inclusivity.
Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies is a plus.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to implement them without sacrificing accessibility.
