Accessibility Developer

QualityLogic is seeking contractors to provide accessibility code level fixes in web and mobile platforms. The position is expected to require a part-time level of contribution but this may expand over time to become a full-time level of effort.

The ideal candidate will have programming skills that will enable them to make fixes in both web and mobile platforms, as well as in proprietary systems like Squarespace. The individual will need to have strong coding skills in typical web / mobile development languages including JS, TS, HTML, PHP, Kotlin, JAVA, and Swift. Knowledge of specific technologies such as React, Vue, Angular, and React native is a plus.

Required Qualifications:
• Development experience in web and mobile
• Strong knowledge of the WCAG and accessible design
• Ability to thoroughly test fixes using assistive technology
• Formal education in software development or relevant work experience
• Customer Focus and Relationship Building, including demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Have a positive, “can do” attitude

Preferred Qualifications:
• CS degree or 10+ years of Web and mobile development experience
• Experience with developing accessible solutions for web and mobile using React, Angular, classic HTML, Swift, and Kotlin
• Strong skills with code repositories such as GIT
• Accessibility certifications
