Job Title: UX/Accessibility Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experiencedUX/Accessibility Analyst to join our IT team. This position is contingent upon our firm being awarded the contract.

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented UX/Accessibility Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design and a deep understanding of accessibility standards and best practices. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our digital products provide a seamless and inclusive user experience.

Responsibilities:

Conduct usability testing and accessibility audits for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to integrate accessibility best practices into the design and development process.
Develop and maintain accessibility guidelines and documentation.
Provide recommendations and solutions to improve the accessibility of existing and new digital products.
Stay up-to-date with the latest accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, ARIA) and legal requirements (e.g., ADA, Section 508).
Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles within the organization.
Create and deliver training sessions and workshops on accessibility topics.
Analyze user feedback and research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Develop personas, user journeys, and wireframes to guide the design process.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure accessibility considerations are met.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a UX Analyst, Accessibility Analyst, or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG, ARIA).
Proficiency in usability testing and user research methodologies.
Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, JAWS).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) and prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Axure).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
